We are a modern clinic of specialization with 582 beds and an academic teaching hospital of the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. As a company, we belong to the Foundation Hospital of the Holy Spirit. Since the Middle Ages, the traditional Frankfurt Foundation has made it its mission to provide the sick and needy with medical and nursing care. Today we fulfill this task with the knowledge of our tradition and the requirements of contemporary hospital services. Today we are a recognized hospital far beyond the region. With eleven specialist disciplines and four institutes we offer medical and nursing care at the highest level. As a site of clinical research, the Northwest Hospital is part of the University Center for Tumor Diseases Frankfurt (UCT), which is certified by the German Cancer Aid. Also of supraregional importance is the oncological center certified by the German Cancer Society, in which all organzentren cooperate. The Department of Neurology is one of the largest neurological clinics in Germany. It has a stroke unit and a neurological intensive care unit.
